Golden honey with good viscosity and a woody citrus aroma. A silky-smooth texture releases a flavour profile rich with resin notes – it is distinctive of a woodland honey, fairly dark and rich with flavour though with little citrus lift or complexity.
This golden syrupy honey has a light and pretty flavour overlaid with a faintly medicinal yet appealing quality. We were fascinated by the taste.
