This creamy honey has a strong rapeseed nose that is surprisingly passive on the palate and belies the floral and complex flavours. We enjoyed the long finish and the restrained sweetness.
This has a very satisfying fudgy consistency. We like the light spring flower note which brings a floral quality, and for us is more defined than the oil-seed rape. A hint of wax remains and gives further character – this is honest and very much a honey we would like on our toast.
